Angry American

      What is wrong with politics in America today? You have Democrats on one side saying that if we don't do what they want to do we won't survive. Then you have the Republicans on the other side saying the same thing. Then when you look at there policies they are exactly oppisite of one another. Now what are the American People to believe? I say that we don't worry about the fancy dressed full pocketed people on capitol hill. I say we only worry about one thing, Ourselves. This will actually get us all a whole lot farther if we quit worrying about what everyone else is doing. Just worry about yourself and what you are doing and you will be just fine. I know that's hard to say right now with the economy the way it is but, if we do then the economy maybe just maybe will start to come back. Don't worry anymore about what your neighbor has that you don't just get what you need to live. Another thing i think we could do that might help is start the boycott of anything that is not made in the USA. Maybe if the politicians would quit talking about what the other one is doing and start talking about they are doing and going to do (and actually do it) then maybe something would start getting done again in this country. I'm sorry people but we need to wake up and realize that right now other countries are looking at us and laughing because the United States has become a joke. I don't know what is going to become of this country with Obama as president he could be one of the greatest this country has ever seen. My money though is on the fact that he will probably fail this country even worse than Bush did and he will not be re-elected in 2012. I hope for the sake of myself and my fellow American's that he turns out to be one of the greatest we have ever had but, I'm scared that he will do more bad things for this country in four years than Bush done for this country in eight. This whole thing is all because he is black I'm not a racist I like black people but the press spent the entire time before the electiong saying that race didn't matter but, somehow after the election all the press and everyone else wants to talk about is the fact that he is black. Now which one is it? Is race important or unimportant? I'll leave you with that question.
